Jennifer Pettigrew received a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2010, from Medical College of Georgia. She has over ten years of clinical and case management experience. Most of Jennifer’s clinical experience is in Emergency Departments, including
working as a Trauma Resuscitation Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Jennifer has participated in the direct patient care of patients suffering from injuries related to car accidents, falls, rape, battery, poisonings, burns, gunshot wounds, and other ailments. She has worked with patients from newborn through geriatric populations. Jennifer is a licensed Health Care Interpreter in Spanish-English. She has experience with Spanish-English interpretation and translation in medical settings. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) nurse case manager, she performed chart audits and made sure that documentation complied with national quality standards. She coordinated with doctors’ offices to ensure they were complying with HEDIS, STARs, and other national quality of care standards. Jennifer has furthered her education and experience by earning a Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate from Kennesaw State University.
